Directions and Parking Information

The Max-Schmeling-Halle is located in the Prenzlauer Berg district and is part of the Friedrich-Ludwig-Jahn-Sportpark. The nearest stations are the Eberswalder Straße subway station (U2) and the Schönhauser Allee S-Bahn and subway station. In addition, the Milastraße and Friedrich-Ludwig-Jahn-Sportpark tram stops are both within walking distance (about 600 m away).

Please note the following when planning your trip:

The Max-Schmeling-Halle does not have its own visitor parking, and the immediate vicinity of the venue contains resident parking spaces that are subject to the parking regulations of the Pankow-Prenzlauer Berg district. We therefore recommend traveling by public transit (S-Bahn and BVG) or by bicycle.

There are plenty of options for parking your bike or renting a bicycle near the Max-Schmeling-Halle. A bike-sharing station is located directly on the forecourt in front of the main entrance, with additional stations available nearby. Information on rentals and current rates can be found on the respective providers’ websites. Bike-sharing is also a convenient way to combine cycling with public transport. If you’re arriving on your own bike, you’ll find plenty of bicycle racks in front of and alongside the venue where you can securely lock it.

Please note that bicycle helmets are not permitted inside the arena. However, you can check them in for free at the bag check.

If you do arrive by car, please use the parking garages in the immediate vicinity:
